Just wanted to show an example on how it took me to edit that duck in the picture. So the original file goes through enhancement and then editing using Photoshop. The final image went through color correction, brightness and contrast, etc. Sometimes, I add textures to the image. It really depends on the photo and how i want it to look like. =)
Here are some effects that I really like...
Let's try that on me...=)
More INFO...
What are Digital Negatives?
Digital Negatives are images straight out of the camera. They are unedited or original files. Digital negatives are not the images you see on my website, portfolio, blog and albums. The photos I present have been enhanced or edited to make them extra vivid and beautiful.
What are Enhanced Images?
Enhanced images are given very minor tweaking if any, no retouching, no resizing. I usually give a color boost to the images. That's about it and they're ready for prints.
What are Edited Images?
Edited images can mean...adjusting the white balance, increasing brightness or contrast, changing color hues, adding special effects like vignettes, converting to black and white or sepia, removing pimples, erasing distracting backgrounds, adding special effects like vignettes or sepia, etc. There are just so many different ways to edit every single image. It requires a lot of time and patience to successfully edit that single perfect photograph.
What is Photo Manipulation?
Photo manipulation is the application of image editing techniques to photographs in order to create an illusion or deception(in contrast to mere enhancement or correction), through analog or digital means. Its uses, cultural impact, and ethical concerns have made it a subject of interest beyond the technical process and skills involved. (From Wikipedia,Free Encyclopedia)
